Grunge Text Effect in Fireworks - By Conceptoo

I am not a grunge expert, but this is a way to do some simple grunge stuff ! |

|
1- Draw a simple line then go to > the stroke properties and change it to Charcoal > Pastel . 2- The width must be set to [ 2 ] and the texture to Grain. set to 100%. |

|
3- Copy the lines and paste them rndomly.
4- Convet some of them to bitmaps bye pressing [Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Z ] . 5- Double click on the line, and use the eraser tool to erase the ends of the lines . do this for sevral lines, use your artistic sense here . :) . 6- Leave some space for thr writing. |

7- Chose a font to write what you want.And the color you want to use.
8- then go to the [Kerning or Range Kerning] ( shown by orange in the image). and change it from 0 to 14 or any thing you want.

9- Now, we add the last touches.
10- Chose a font that looks something like the one in the image. I use a font called [ Blasphemy ]. 11- Then convert some letters to bitmap (as in step 4). And cut some parts of them to use un your design.

12- Then use that parts of the letters to do the same thing as in the image.
13- now save your work. |
