Forum Nokia has released a couple of days ago a free set of Flash Lite components for use in Flash Lite 2.X projects. The Forum Nokia Components include a battery-level indicator, a signal-level indicator, and a general list component. These components are similar to the Flash packaged components as they can be easily used by dragging and dropping any one of them onto the stage. The components provide very limited customization features (just basically the colour for the battery and signal indicators). They can downloaded for free from this link.
A project worth mentioning here is Oxygen Toolkit, a free set of readymade movie clips from the Forum Nokia Developer Wiki that can be used with Flash Lite 1.X and Flash Lite 2.X projects and provides a greater variety of functionality such as a frame-rate indicator, a memory monitor in addition to a battery and signal monitory. Oxygen Toolkit differs from the Forum Nokia Components in that Oxygen is not packaged in a component format and therefore cannot be customized as easily because of the lack of a components inspector, however Oxygen still provides the potential to be fully customized if you know what you are doing as the source code isfully made available when you download it.
Both of the Forum Nokia Components and the Oxygen Tookit are available for Flash 8 and Flash CS3.
